Welcome to Our New Nursery Care Provider

Please welcome Yasmin Echeverri to our New Nursery Care Staff. Yasmin is originally from Columbia and now a citizen of the United States. She and her husband, Leonard, with 3 year old daughter Natalie, live in North Kingstown. Her previous experience comes from helping out with her mother’s daycare.

Yasmin is a new nursing student at CCRI. In her spare time she is active riding her bike, roller skating, and gardening. She especially likes helping her neighbors and enjoys her trips to the library and her “adventures with Isabel”. If you have not had a chance to welcome Yasmin we invite you to stop by the nursery and say hello. Yasmin will be with us each Sunday from 9:30-11:30 AM to care for our babies and toddlers.

This position is partially funded for 2016. We are appealing for special donations marked “nursery care” to fund it through the end of the year. This position will be added to our budget in 2017.

Each Sunday we will be seeking a volunteer to sit in with Yasmin as we adhere to our Safe Sanctuary policy. You may speak to either Pete Pellegrino or a member of SPRC [Mark DerManouelian; Nina Dunne; Claudia Golgozy; Paula Martasian, Lay Leader] if you would like to assist in the nursery. The hope is that several people, including parents, will help out on a rotating basis. This way, everyone will be able to attend worship as we rotate through the month. Thank you, Isabel Hayes, for introducing Yasmin to the church!
