United Methodist Women

“The organization of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”
The NKUMW meet regularly on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30-11:30 AM.  We begin with a light brunch and fellowship.  Our meeting time begins with a meditation, business and a study program.  Our mission work supports the NarSarah Clinic in Sierra Leone by sewing dresses, britches and making birthing kits for the clinic.  We also support the local food pantry and Project Outreach in Providence.  Our social activities include game nights, sew-a-thons and a fall retreat at Camp  Aldersgate.  For more information contact Wendy Halstead.
